Day 1: Welcome to Lima
Arrival at the Jorge Chavez International Airport in Lima. Welcome to the “City of the Kings”, ancient nickname of Lima. A guide and a taxi from Solidaire Inca Tour will meet you and bring you to the selected hotel. There, we will enjoy some refreshment as a welcome reception, and the end of the morning will be free to rest from our journey. Then, we will have our lunch in one of the best restaurants in Lima.
In the afternoon, we will start our city tour of Lima. We will discover the two main squares of Lima’s historical center, the Basilica cathedral, the Arzobispal Palace, the Government Palace as well as the Monastery of San Francisco whith its catacombs. We will also visit the Park of Love and some outskirts of the capital.
We will finally return to the ‘Miraflores Park Hotel’, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Paracas and the Ballestas Islands
After our breakfast, we will leave for the city of Paracas. At our arrival, we will enjoy a welcome cocktail in the hotel. Then, we will have the great opportunity to visit the Ballestas Islands from our private yatch, discovering the incredible aquatic fauna of dolphins, penguins and sea lions. It will also be the perfect time to enjoy a natural birds’show while savoring a glass of champagne.
From our yatch, we will appreciate a unique view on the Candelabro. This symbol of the local people’s architectural ingenuity will indeed reveal all its beauty. This figure, drawn in the sand mountains skirting the Ocean, was probably designed as the famous Nazca lines.
Back from our Pacific excursion, we will taste the savory Peruvian cuisine of our hotel, famous for its combination of various culinary traditions.
After our lunch, we will head to the Paracas National Reserve, where the vast reddish desert will offer us a unique panorama with a view on the only red beach in the world.
For dinner, we will continue our gastronomic adventure in another well-known restaurant, where the Peruvian cuisine will delight our tatse-buds.
Finally, we will return to the ‘Paracas Hotel’ for the night.

Day 3: Flying over the Nazca Lines
We will have a relaxing breakfast time before taking the road to Pisco, where our plane will be waiting for us. The world-famous Nazca Lines will reveal us all their geoglyphs during a 30-minute flight.
Then, we will return to Lima and have dinner in the restaurant of the ‘Miraflores Park Hotel’. We will spend the night in our confortable suites.

Day 4: Lima - Arequipa
We will head towards Lurin, a town located in the South of Lima, home to an Andean craftsmen community. We will meet these ‘Guardians of Ayacucho artcraft’ and learn more about their traditional work.
The Pachamanca, the oldest typical Peruvian meal, will be prepared for us. The potatoes and the meat are stewed in a traditional way, which give to this meal a unique taste.
Then, we will take our flight to Arequipa, known as ‘The white city’, where we will arrive in the early evening. As soon as we arrive, we will enjoy a luxuous dinner in the prestigious restaurant of our hotel ‘Casa Andina Private Collection’. Finally, we will retire to our suites for the nights.

Day 5: Discovering Arequipa
After our breakfast, we will start our visit of the historic center of Arequipa, which has been declared Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO. We will walk around the “Plaza de Armas”, known as one of the most beautiful squares of Peru, as well as the famous Founder’s House.
Then, we will have our lunch in a charming restaurant in the countryside of Arequipa.
In the afternoon, we will visit the Convent of Santa Catalina, which has remained as it was before the Church closed it.
Finally, we will return to our hotel ‘Casa Andina Private Collection’ to have dinner and retire for the night.

Day 6: The Colca Canyon
In the morning, we will leave for our incredible journey of 4 hours to the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest canyons in the world (3,400 meters). We will go through Pampa Cañahuas in the Aguada Blanca National Reserve, land of Andean vicunas and alpacas. We will also appreciate the amazing view on the pre-Columbian terraces, still cultivated by the natives, and learn more about their irrigation system.
Arriving in the Colca Valley, we will be transferred to our housing. The rest of the evening will be free to get acclimatized to the altitude. A relaxing time in the regional hot springs or a pleasant walk will be some of our options.
Then, we will enjoy a pleasant dinner and night in our hotel ‘Las Casitas del Colca’.

Day 7: Colca – Puno
In the morning, we will continue our discovery of the Colca Valley. We will head towards the famous ‘Cruz Del Condor’ Mirador where we will be able to observe the majesty of the condor´s flight.
In the afternoon, we will head to Puno, city located on the shore of the Titicaca Lake. There, we will be welcomed in the Titilaka Hotel, where we will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 8: Uros and Taquile Islands
Discovering the islands on the Titicaca Lake is a unique experience. In the morning, we will head to the pier to reach the Uros Islands, also known as the Floating Islands. Indeed, these islands are built with reed and float on the Titicaca Lake. The local Aymara community will present us their ancestral customs and way of life.
Later, we will visit Taquile Island. There, we will spend some time with Quechua speaking communities and learn more about their daily life. We will have lunch on the island before returning to Puno in the late afternoon.
A dinner will be prepared for us in the Titilaka Hotel, where we will spend our second night.

Day 9: Puno – Cusco
In the early morning, the luxuous Orient Express train will wait for us to leave Puno for Cuzco, ancient capital of the Tawantisuyo culture.
All the way long, we will enjoy amazing views while relaxing comfortably. We will go through Andahuaylillas, a village known for its South American Sistine Chapel and its rich colonial art heritage. We will continue our journey discovering the village of Rashi with its incredible Inca sanctuary built for the God Viracocha.
In the late afternoon, we will arrive at our final destination, Cuzco, known as the Imperial City. Our drivers will welcome us and take us to our hotel ‘La Casona’, where we will enjoy a Peruvian dinner before the night.

Day 10: Discovering Cusco
After our breakfast, we will start our visit of the city with the ‘Coricancha’, also called Temple of the Sun. We will continue walking around the ‘Plaza de Armas’, Cuzco central square, and the Cathedral. Then, we will appreciate the nearby ruins going to the Sacsayhuman Fortress, Quenqo, Pukapukara and Tambomachay, a ceremonial on water.
After a lunch in Cuzco, we will head to Chincheros to visit the Andean Urpi Community. We will discover with them the traditional way of weaving of Quechua communities. They will also offer us their typical drink called ‘Chicha’.
Then, we will return to Cusco to have dinner in our hotel ‘La Casona’ and spend our second night there.

Day 11: The Sacred Valley of the Incas
After our breakfast, we will take the road through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the indigenous town of Pisac, where we will visit the temple and typical streets.
After our lunch, we will visit the archeological complex of Ollantaytambo. From the Temple Hill, we will also appreciate a unique view on the Sacred Valley.
We will enjoy a typical dinner and retire to our hotel ‘Tambo del Inca’ for the night.

Day 12: Aguas Calientes
In the early morning, we will take a train to Aguas Calientes, the nearest town to Machu Picchu. After a short break in our hotel, we will be awaited in one of the best restaurants in Peru, El Indio Feliz. The chief will propose us a savory combination of French and Peruvian cuisine.
In the afternoon, we will have the opportunity to experience various exceptional activities. A unique walk through an orchid garden will make us discover more than 350 native orchid species in their natural habitat. A bird-watching walk will be another option to enjoy this fascinating environment, where 18 species of hummingbirds have chosen to live.
If we have some time left, we can also visit the indigenous market, where we will have a broad range of handicrafts to discover.
Finally, we will return to our hotel, the ‘Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel’, to enjoy a light dinner and retire early to be in great shape for the next day.

Day 13: Machu Picchu
Early in the morning, we will take a bus that will carry us on a winding road to the Inca fortress of Machu Picchu, so that we might admire a sunrise on one of the wonders of the Ancient World. This amazing lost ‘city of the Incas’ will offer us all its treasures of stone works and ornaments as well as its breathtaking wild landscapes. A professional guide will present us the secrets of the citadel and tell us about the Circular Tozer, the Intihuantana and the Three windows Temple.
We will go down to Aguas Calientes to have our lunch and enjoy the thermal baths of the town.
In the late afternoon, we will return to Cuzco. We will be transferred to our hotel ‘La Casona’ to enjoy a relaxing dinner before retiring for the night.

Day 14: Cusco – Lima
In the morning, we will directly head to Cuzco International Airport to take our flight back to Lima.
After our lunch, we will make the most of our last day in Peru enjoying the gastronomy of the vibrant capital. First, we will visit one of the markets of the city to complete our discovery of Peruvian products, such as the 4 000 natural sorts of potatoes and the large variety of exotic fruits.
Then, in the early evening, we will go to a prestigious restaurant to taste a last time the best of the Peruvian cuisine. While being delighted with the buffet, we will also enjoy a traditional dancing show.
Finally, we will return to the ‘Miraflores Park Hotel’ to spend our last night.

Day 15: Lima Airport
It is with great emotion that we will end our Peruvian experience.
After our last breakfast, we will head towards the International Airport of Lima.
